PEN Members’ Book Exhibit:
We invite delegates to participate in the book exhibit and/or sale at the Educal
bookstore of the Palacio de las Bellas Artes. We would appreciate it if you
could send an e-mail to congreso-booklist@penmexico.org.mx with the following information, as it
may apply:
a) Authors, editors and translators whose work is already
available for commercial distribution in
b) Authors who do not currently have commercial distribution
in
Before the Congress:

Send us the following letter authorizing exhibit and sale:

I am interested in having Educal sell my publications during the 69th PEN Congress
and I agree to Educal receiving a 40% commission of the public sale price.

Attach a list of the books and quantities that will be delivered in person by
the author at the hotel registration table.
For sale: Note the price per unit in dollars on the list.
For exhibit: Note "for exhibit only" with the corresponding title.
During the Congress:

The books should be transported by the authors themselves and, as stated above,
should be delivered to the Congress registration table at the hotel or to the
EDUCAL bookstore located in the vestibule of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The
books should be delivered with a receipt or list that indicates the title, number
of copies of each title and the public sale price in dollars.
4)
The exchange rate used for the sale of the publications will be the prevailing
rate on the day the books are received, according to BBVA Bancomer bank’s market
price for dollars.
5)
At the end of the Congress, the bookstore will pay the autor for the books sold.
Payment will be made in Mexican pesos and any unsold copies will be returned.
Mexican PEN will not be responsible for books that are not retrieved from Educal
directly.
6)
Mexican PEN will accept author gifts of publications as donations.

If you would like to appear in the Congress Who’s Who, which
will be published on the Congress Web Page of Mexican Pen’s site, we ask that
you e-mail your curriculum vitae on one page (size A4), in Times or Times
New Roman, 12 point, in English, French and/or Spanish (preferably in two languages),
proofed and without errors, along with your photograph to congreso-whoiswho@penmexico.org.mx.

If you send your photograph through the Internet (e-mail), it should be digital, full color, passport size, and not
be less than 150 dpi nor more than 300 dpi.
